Essence of Scotland Highland Dance Association

          Essence of Scotland Higland Dance Association was organized to support the students and teachers of the Campbell School of Dance. This volunteer organization is very active in the dance community and willingly takes on projects to promote the art of Highland Dance and the Celtic Culture.

          Atlantic Canada Highland Dance Championships 2004

          were hosted by Essence of Scotland Dance Society
          and the Campbell School of Dance

          October 9th and 10th, 2004th

          Some members of our group are busy fundraising to travel to Scotland this coming summer. The group has hosted Interprov in 1997, the Canadian Highland Dance Championships in Sydney in July of 1997. This was very successful endeavor and very positive feedback was received from many of those who attended.

          The group hosts an annual competition each year.

          Our group also does fund raising throughout the year to assist any Provincial Representatives from the school with their travel to the Canadian Championship Series. In the year 2006, the Series is being hosted by Scotdance Alberta and is being held in Calgary
