WALTER J. KAFFKA, Base Photographer, was designated as an Honorary Life Member by the Selman Field Historical Association Board. His many contributions to the retrivial and preservation of the story of WWII Selman Field include his extensive work on earlier Reunions. He is also responsible for the existence of most of the pictures documenting the various phases of Selman Field. His donation of several albums of these pictures has enhanced our memory of the AAF Navigator Training facility
and caused many fond reminiscences. These are priceless artifacts.
GUSSIE LASUZZO SCHOTT (BOB) says that without WALTER
KAFFKA , she would
not have had any photographs of her wedding; there are undoubtedly
others who would say the same.
