Everyone had managed to pick up their moods and shake off the night. Kevin,
however, was more quiet than usual. He needed to talk to Janis. After finally
figuring out what he wanted to say, he took his chances and made his move.

(OUTSIDE)
Janis sat on AJ's lap watching him play cards with Brian, Nick, and Howie.

"Ha-ha!! Beat that dude!!" Brian laughed throwing his cars down. "I'm gonna be
the rich man this time!!"
Howie slouched down at Brian's words "Pass"
AJ leaned a little forward and looked at Brian. "Brian…you seemed to have
forgotten, there are two pother players." He said throwing his card down and
winning the game.
Brian sat there staring at AJ's last card, not saying a word. Janis wanted to
laugh, so she turned her head. "Oh, his ego!" Janis said into AJ's ear. AJ
laughed as Kevin called for Janis. "Comin'!" she replied. Janis began to get up,
but AJ pulled her back into his lap.
"Do you have to go?" He asked with a pout.
Janis stared at him without moving. Then she lunged forward and deeply kissed
him.
"Buger!!" Kevin called again.
Janis broke the kiss for a second, "Yah, almost there" She said, going back to
AJ's lips.
"AJ!!" Kevin called
"Mmmm, I'm coming." Janis said. Janis got up still holding AJ's hand. AJ laughed
at Kevin's frustration as their fingers slipped apart.
"All right, let's play again." AJ said and grabbed the cards.

Janis went into the house, but couldn't find Kevin.
"Kevin?" she called
"I'm right here." He said coming out of his room.
"Oh, you wanted me for sum'm?" She asked
"Yah…umm…I wanna talk to you." Kevin led Janis to the living room and sat on the
couch.
"Is something wrong?" Janis asked
"Well…no…not really." Kevin took a breath, then bursted out. "I want you to move
here." He said
"What?!?" Janis stared at him.
"I want you to move in with me…and the guys. I want you to stay here."
Janis paused. "Kevin… I can't just get up and leave everything in Hawaii. My
whole life is there…and that's not an easy thing to just pack up and move." She
explained
Kevin looked down, then outside. "And all you have here is a best friend, new
boyfriend, and three other people who really care about you…It may not be a
life, but it's good enough to start one…I mean you already have a house for gods
sake!!" Kevin paused then continued taking Janis' hands in his. "Janis, it has
been two years since we've been together, and now that we've finally got the
chance to rebuild everything and spend time with each other… I'm beginning to
realize how much I've missed it. We've always been together man, you were my
Buger and I was you suction…" Janis laughed as Kevin continued, "That's how it's
always been…Just…please…think about it."

Kevin gave Janis another look before he got up and went outside, leaving her
before she could protest again.

Janis had Kevin's request in her mind throughout the day. (Should she really
go through with this, or should she go back? How much will she miss them??
What's going to happen between her and AJ?) The thought just kept haunting her.
