Janis cracked her eyes open, and once again felt pain in the back of her head.
Groaning from the pain and putting her hand on her head, she lifted herself up
to look around.

The room she was in was dark and stuffy. She could see some boxes lying around
and there were no windows. She stood up and walked over to the door, trying to
open it, but she couldn't. (Where the hell am I?) She thought to herself.

As soon as she turned to walk back, she heard the door unlocking. She took a
couple steps back, and the door slowly opened. Her stomach got tight as she
tried to find her breath

A man stood in front of Janis, staring at her.

"Who are you?" Janis asked
"Who am I…" he said "Huh... That little shit… He didn't tell you anything did
he?"
"Who?" Janis asked
"The one that CLAIMS to love you."
"AJ." She whispered
"The same ONE that stole my life!"
"What are you talking about?" Janis asked
"Think he's worried about you?" He asked, avoiding explanation. "I doubt it. He
could probably care less as to what happens to you."
"Fuck you!" Janis said
"I don't think you should be saying that to me." He said "You never know if it
will happen…. And believe me baby… I want it to happen." He continued rubbing
her face
"Let me out of here!" Janis said slapping his hand away from her
"Think it's that easy?" He answered

Janis wanted to get out badly and get back to AJ. She tried to run around him,
and out the door. She was close, but not quick enough. Shawn stuck out his hand,
grabbing Janis' neck and forcing her to the floor. Janis screamed as her back
hit the ground.

"If I were you, I'd think twice before trying something like that!" Shawn
yelled, pinning her wrists. He managed to pin her wrists with one hand and began
unbuttoning her pants with the other. Janis wiggled one of her arms out and
began to push him.
"Get off me!" She shouted, trying to push him.

Shawn raised his hand and slapped her across the face, causing her to yell in
pain. "Shut the fuck up, Bitch!!" He yelled then continued.

Janis could feel her tears running down her face and her body shaking from
fear. She felt him get lighter on her legs and knew it was a good chance. So she
pulled her knee up and kicked him in the private. Shawn groaned from the pain
and loosened his grip. Janis slipped out and headed for the door, but before she
got there, Shawn kicked it shut, throwing her off track. She quickly snapped out
and went for the door again. Shawn grabbed her hair and threw her against the
wall. Her back hit hard again as he held her by her throat, slightly choking
her.

"You're not going anywhere." He said, slapping her again, and causing Janis to
fall to the floor. He then walked out the room, slamming the door and locking it
behind him.

Janis grabbed her stinging face and tried to stop crying, but failed when she
thought of AJ. Wanting to be in his arms and close to her best friends made her
cry even more. She sat against the wall and held her knees.

(BACK TO AJ)
Kevin walked into the room and assured Howie that he could leave. Kevin closed
the door behind Howie and turned to AJ who was still on the bed. Kevin walked
over and sat next to him.

"It's just like you said." AJ said softly. "Every relationship she gets in, she
gets hurt one way or another."
"AJ, it's not your actions that's hurting her… you're the one she's gonna come
back to."
"If she comes back." AJ whispered
"Don't say that…she is going to come back… We're not gonna loose her!" Kevin
said
Tears rolled down AJ's face as he stood up and walked to the window. "Why does
it have to be her? I never wanted this to happen!!" He said

Kevin got up and walked over to his side. He put his arm around AJ as more
tears fell from AJ's face. Kevin stood there holding him, and trying to comfort
him as much as he could.
