The next morning, they guys had gone out to get breakfast except AJ. Janis was
outside with her feet in the pool.

"This seems familiar." AJ said, sitting next to her. Janis smiled.

They sat there staring at the water for a couple minutes, not saying a word. AJ
looked up at her, then back at the water.

"Can I ask you a question?" He said
"Sure"
"Um… What are we? I mean… What do we have?"
"You know… I'm not really sure"
"'Cause, if you think about it, I never really asked you out." AJ said
"Yah, that's true."
AJ paused for a second and closed his eyes. "I don't want to loose you Janis."
He said looking at her. "I've wanted to be with you since the day I saw your
picture, and then I finally get to meet you and everything got stronger, I fell
in love with everything about you. I don't know what I would have done if…if you
didn't call back that night. And, I know you're leaving…But I'm not letting go."

Janis looked at the water with tears falling down her cheek. She slowly stood
up and tried to walk away, but she was moving to quickly. She got dizzy, and
stopped walking, putting her hand on her stomach. Her back was facing AJ as she
took a deep breath to stop crying.

AJ noticed her sudden hult, and quickly stood up. "Janis." He said softly,
walking toward her.

Janis turned around and looked at him, "You promise you won't let go?" She
cried.

AJ walked to her and held her. She laid her head on his chest and closed her
eyes.

"I promise." He whispered

Holding her tight, he stood there for a few minutes before looking back at her.
He ran one hand through her hair and tilted his head.

"So, does this mean we're going out?" He asked smiling.
"God!" Janis sighed. "YES!" She said laughing and lightly slapping his arm.

He gathered her in his arms again and sighed. "I love you." He whispered.
