AJ and Janis pulled away from each other's lips, still keeping their eyes
closed. AJ leaned his forehead on hers, then rubbed his nose against hers. He
then moved his lips to her neck. He kissed her neck, and her hear give off a
soft moan. That's when he laid his chin on her shoulder. (I shouldn't have
kissed her!!) He said to himself.

"I'm sorry" He whispered into her ear

Janis pulled away to look at him. With out saying a word, she leaned in and
kissed him. Without looking back at her, AJ put his head into her shoulder. He
was trying his hardest to keep his eyes from watering. He loved being so close
to her and he didn't want to let go. He squeezed her a little tighter at the
thought. He failed at keeping his eyes clear. The sound of Janis' voice broke
the moment.

"AJ?"
"Hmm?"
"It's cold."
"Oh…yeah," He said lifting his head
Janis noticed his glassy eyes. "What's wrong?" She asked
AJ sat there, staring at her for a couple of seconds as his eyes began to fill
up with more tears. He finally whispered. "I love you."

Janis' eyes began to water as well. Janis was at loss of words. She
immediately hugged him. Feeling so comfortable in his arms, she began to cry.

(The Next Morning)
AJ lay on the lawn chair, holding Janis in his arms. With a blanket over their
bodies, they slept peacefully. Janis could feel the presence of someone in her
sleep, and started to move causing AJ to move also. Opening their eyes at the
same time, they saw 4 figures staring down at them.

"God, I swear… you guys have the weirdest ways of waking people up!" AJ said
They all started laughing
"Dudes… why are you out here??" Howie asked
"Uhhh, we were talking, but I guess that didn't last very love…. uuuhhh long, I
meant long." AJ giggled
"What the hell do you guys want anyway??" Janis asked
"Well, for one, you guys need to get up. It's 11:30!" Brian yelled
"Yah, and we're hungry." Nick added
"Buger?" Kevin said in a kid voice

Janis looked up and saw 4 really big smiles. "Oh, god…" She said laughing. She
knew what they wanted, so she got up and headed inside. After washing up, Janis
got started in the kitchen.

"I'm sorry Boog, you don't have to do this if you don't want." Kevin said
walking into the kitchen.
"No, it's ok. I haven't cooked for anyone in a long time… come to think of it,
the last person I cooked for was Scott…." Janis trailed off…. "But don't worry,
it'll be fun!!" She answered
"Are you sure?"
Janis looked at Kevin with a mean face. "No, I'm pissed…I never wanna talk to
you again!!" Janis yelled. She stood there with a mean face for a minute. Kevin
started pouting his lips and sobbing like a little boy. Janis cracked and
started laughing. "No, I'm just kidding Kevvy…" she said still laughing at
Kevin's face.
"AAAAHHHHHH…HHHAAA…. HHAA… HHHAAA…!!!" Kevin started to fake cry really loudly
Janis said sorry, and gave Kevin a hug, as they both started laughing. They
finally stopped and looked outside where the others were. All for of them stood
there watching, wondering if it was real.
"Sorry!!!" Janis yelled "Kevvy here got outta line there for a minute!!" She
smiled
"Oh, I got outta line…. Miss 'I never wanna talk to you again!!'" Kevin said
back, still giggling

~*~OUTSIDE~*~
"They're so cute together." Nick said taking a seat.
"So, what did you guys do last night?" Howie asked
AJ took a minute and smiled to himself. " I got to gold her," He said staring at
the pool.

~*~INSIDE~*~
"What are we doin' today?" Janis asked
"I think we'll just stay around here and spend the day out at the pool, blasé
the radio, sing a cappella… stuff like that…" Kevin answered. He stood there
waiting for Janis to respond. Nodding her head, she suddenly stopped.
"A cappella???" She said turning quickly "You guys will sing for me?"
Kevin smiled "I knew you'd like that"
"Yeah...ye…yeah!! I love the way you guys sing a cappella!!!" Janis said while
hugging Kevin

After calming herself down, Janis went back to cooking. Kevin could tell she
had something on her mind, and he only took one guess.

"So, ah… .Boogie….. what did you and ah AJ do last night??" Kevin asked moving
his eyebrows up and down.
Janis paused and looked out at AJ. "God, he's fine!" She said
Kevin moved to her positing to look at him. "MMM….yeah…. he's a hottie!!! What
would I give to…oh sorry!" he said in his best gay voice. "So what happened??
Are you guys together???"
Janis had to pull herself together from laughing. "I don't know!! I don't know
what we are…" she said putting her head into her hands
"Ok," Kevin began "You need to know something… this boy is in LOVE with you. We
have never seen him love someone so quickly. He wants to be with you. The
question is, what do you want?"
Janis sat there for a minute, "I just wanna be with him." She said softly, "He
kissed me last night."
"He did?" Kevin said
"Yah…we were standing there…and…he was holding me…and…" Janis grabbed her
stomach and rushed out of the other guys sight, but still stayed in Kevin's. She
started to hyperventilate. "Oh, God…he…whoohoo…everytime I get close to him…I
get this feeling all over and… ugh, I can't explain it, but you know what? I
think I like him!"
"Really?? I ver would have guessed with you not being able to breath and all,
Look at you!" Kevin said laughing. "You know what? Just try to get through the
day and go with the flow, See if anything else happens between you two, and then
you can go crazy, and tell me!!" He said laughing again.

Janis agreed, calmed down, and finished the food. Throughout the day, AJ stayed
as close as possible to Janis. Holding her as much as he could. It seemed, to
everyone, that they've been together for years.

~*~THE NEXT MORNING~*~
AJ and Janis were the first ones up and back outside on the lawn chair. They
sat there playing with each other's fingers.

"You know, they're gonna wonder what's going on with us…and… I'm wondering the
same thing." AJ said.
Janis got quiet, and stared at his fingers. Then she looked back at him.
"Well…whatever they see, I think it's true."

With that, Janis moved in and started kidding AJ. They were interrupted when
the p hone rang. AJ stood up to answer it, and Janis waited for him outside. 10
minutes later, he came back.

"That was my mom. She wants us to go over tonight for a B-B-Q."
"That'll be fun!!" Janis said
"Yeah, we haven't done it in a while. She's so happy you're coming… She loves
you" AJ said
"I can't wait to see her too." Janis said smiling.
