"AJ, where's my jacket?" Nick yelled from up the stairs
"It's probably still on you bed, now hurry up, we're gonna be late!" AJ yelled
back
"Hey AJ, your mom called again. We have to stop by my mom's house and get more
charcoal!" Brian yelled
"Alright!" AJ responded

Everyone was finally ready and heading out the door. AJ took Janis and Brian in
his car, and the rest rode with Kevin. AJ drove in the driveway of Brian's mom's
house, and they all got out. Holding Janis' hand, he led her to the door. Brian
put the key to the door, and turned it.

"Hey… the door's not even locked!!…. Geeze mom, what are you trying to do?" He
said.
"AJ can you check on the patio for the charcoal?"
"Sure!" AJ walked to the back of the house and opened the sliding door. Not
seeing any charcoal, he turned and walked back in. "There's noting out there
Bri…." AJ stopped and looked before him. A man stood there with Janis in his
left arm. He had a blade to her neck, and a gun pointed at Brian's chest.
Janis could feel the blade on her nick and her eyes began to water. AJ looked at
Brian who couldn't take his eyes off the gun, then to Janis who was staring
back. Her tears were running down her cheek.

"Hello AJ." The man said, his voice was deep. AJ tuned to the familiar voice.
His eyes widened in surprise, then lowered to anger.
"What do you want?" AJ asked
"Hmmm." The man grinned and looked at Brian.
"What would you do if I killed your friend here? If I just shot him right now…
what would you do?" He said walking toward Brian
"No!" Janis yelled
"Don't!!" AJ yelled rushing in-between the gun and Brian
"AJ?" Brian yelled, worried AJ would get hurt.
The man paused for a second. "AAAWWW, you'd risk your life for him." He said.
Before he could say anything else, Brian's cell phone started ringing… "Time for
me to go!" The man said, starting to walk back. Janis let out a scream as he
pulled her back with him,
"Janis!" AJ yelled, taking a step forward.
"Stay the fuck back you bastard!!" The mad yelled back. He kept Janis in his arm
with the knife up to her neck.
"AJ." Janis whimpered as they slowly crept out the door.
AJ's breathing became heavy…(Janis) he thought to himself. Brian and AJ stood
there, not knowing what to do. Then they heard Janis scream. They both ran from
the door, Brian making it out first.
"Brian Wait!!!!" AJ yelled, close behind him

Brian was about to turn the corner, but at the same time, the gun went off, and
AJ pulled Brian back, hard into his chest. Janis screamed again.

The car pulled out and AJ looked around the corner. Seeing Janis lying on the
ground, AJ rushed to her.
"Baby…are you ok?" AJ said lifting her head up. Janis threw her arms around him
and kept crying. AJ could feel her body trembling with fear and she was unable
to stand just yet.
"My dream AJ, it was just like my dream!" AJ pulled away, and noticed a little
bit of blood coming out of her neck
"He cut you!!! Oh my God, you're bleeding!!!"
"I'll be ok….." Janis said "Brian, where's Brian?!?!?!"

AJ then turned to check for Brian but didn't see him. He got a sudden fear and
pain in his stomach.
"Brian?" There was no answer… "Brian?!?!?!" he yelled again. Brian finally came
around the corner.
"I'm still here AJ, the police are on their way"

AJ closed his eyes, and sighed in relief. "Lets go back inside" He said to
Janis. He helped her shaky body up and led her back in the house.
