There were five girls already in the car, and they all greeted her with huge
grins. "My god, it's been so long since we did this! Kristin, how did you
and Leigh get away from those husbands of yours?" Carrie asked, grinning at
them. Leighanne grinned widely. "The same way you did, we told them we were
going, and walked out the door! By the way, we're still pissed at you for
not telling us you were getting married til after you did it!" she said.
Carrie sighed as Shannon added, "No more pissed than I am, I was supposed to
be maid of honor! Good thing you had the other wedding, or we'd have lynched
you!" "Guys, I'm sorry! AJ didn't tell me we were eloping until we were
already at the chapel! I just thought we were in Vegas for the show he was
doing, I swear to god I told you as soon as I recovered from the shock. Now
shut the hell up about it already, I thought this was a night to have fun!"
she ordered. Amber laughed. "But hassling you is so much fun, sis!" she
said.

Carrie grinned at her affectionately. "Shut up, bitch, you know I'm gonna
get you for this. Kristy, hi! God, it's been so long, I can't believe
we're all hanging out together again finally. Let's hit the clubs!" The
car full of ladies pulled away as AJ and Nick came out of the house and got
into the Durango. "Man, I really hate being away from Carrie for even one
night. We've only been married six months! But I do think she needs time
with the girls, so I'll deal." AJ moaned. Nick laughed his ass off. "You are
such an old married man! I never thought I would see the day when AJ McLean
was bitching about going to a club!" he teased. AJ grinned. "Watch
yourself, Carter, you know that the only reason you're going is cuz you had
no idea Kristy was in town. If you had known before, you'd have had her tied
to your bed by now." he shot back with an evil smirk. Nick sighed as the
picture filled his head. "Oh hell yeah damn, let's go get the rest of the
guys. We're taking Fatone, too, he's lost without Shannon." he told AJ as
they peeled out. AJ groaned again. "That boy's an even bigger slut than you
are! I can't believe Shannon puts up with him." he said.

Nick looked at AJ in disbelief. "You really have been out of circulation!
Joe hasn't left the house without Shannon by his side in a year, Bone. He
won't let her out of his sight! He's even more in love than you are, if
you can imagine it. He was almost in tears when Shannon dropped him off at
Kev's house, he begged her not to stay out all night. Boy is totally
whipped!" he told him. AJ grinned at the thought of Joey Fatone begging
Shannon to stay. "Man, that girl must be good to take a playa of that
caliber off the market! Damn, this night could prove interesting after all.
So how are Kev and Bri taking it that their wives ditched them for a night
out with the girls?" he asked. Nick laughed. "To tell the truth, they're
taking it a lot better than Howie, you, and I, and tons better than Fatone.
They just kissed the ladies and told them to have a good time while handing
over their cash. They know how this game works, and they know that when the
ladies get home, they'll get the best loving they've had in a long time." he
said. AJ smiled slightly as he thought of the night he and Carrie would have
when they were alone again. "Oh yeah!" he said softly.
