Chapter 2- What a Girl Needs

Amber, Carrie and I finally got back to the business at hand, finding outfits
to wear to the Nsync concerts, and clubbing afterward.  The Crossgates Mall
in Albany, New York was teeming with teenagers, since it was July, and we
were constantly being pushed or bumped into.  Just as we were getting
seriously annoyed, all three of us were knocked off our feet by some guys
running through the mall being chased by screaming teens.  The guys stopped
long enough to help us to our feet, and we looked into the faces of Nsync
themselves.  Without thinking, I blurted out, "Where the hell are your
bodyguards?"  The guys looked amused, then nervous as the girls began to
catch up.

Amber and Carrie looked at each other, then at me, and we all grinned and
linked hands.  A few murmured words later, the screaming changed.  The guys
were amazed to see the teens turn and race in the other direction.  "What the
hell?" JC said in shock.  "Just a little misdirection.  They think you're at
the other end of the mall.  Maybe you should get out while they're
distracted?" Amber said mildly.  They looked at us in shock, and noticed that
we were all wearing pentacles.  "You're witches?" Chris blurted.  "That's
us, and unless I'm seriously mistaken, you guys are Nsync.  And without
bodyguards.  So shouldn't you really be getting someplace safe?" Carrie said
with a half-smile.  Joey smiled down at Amber.  "Yeah, probably.  Do you
ladies want to come with us?" he asked.  We all chuckled, and Amber teased
gently, "That was the worst pickup line Ive ever heard, Joey, and I'm from
California.  No, you guys get to wherever it is you're supposed to be.
Well see you soon, don't worry."  Justin looked down into my eyes.  "How
will we find you?" he asked.  I smiled shyly.  "Well find you, don't worry.
But if you get really desperate, were at the Ramada." I said.  Then we
walked away.

The guys hurried back to the safety of their van and the bodyguards.  As they
rode back to the hotel, they looked at each other.  "Guys, don't even think
it.  We have a show to do tonight, we cant be chasing all over town,
especially a town we don't know, to find some ladies." JC said warningly.
"But we know where they're staying.  It shouldn't be too hard to find them."
Justin argued half-heartedly.  Lance sighed.   "I hate to admit it, but JCs
right.  We have to think of the fans first, then worry about the ladies
later.  Well go after the show.  At least we know they're not local either,
or they wouldn't be staying at a hotel." he said.  Joey grinned, thinking of
Amber.  "Especially that hottie from Cali.  Damn, what a woman!" he said.
They all laughed, then talked about how to find us again.

"Oh, now that was just too much!  Not only did we meet them, we talked to
them, flirted, and even told them where were staying!" Amber said.  I
chuckled softly.  "Who told them?  Anyway, we know where they're staying,
too, so lets get with the program and get our shopping done before we miss
the show, okay?" I teased.  Carrie slugged me lightly in the shoulder.  "Stop
being so bossy, sis!  Were here to have fun, remember?" she said.  I grinned
widely.  "And I intend to have fun with Justin!" I shot back.  We all
laughed, and headed for the funkiest shops.  An hour later we were on our way
back to the hotel with the perfect outfits.  "We know Justin wont be in the
bar at the hotel tonight, so I'm planning on hitting Jillian's after the
show.  I bet I find him in the dance club or pool hall." I said as I looked
in my bag at the outfits Id chosen.  Carrie grinned. "I know Ill find
Lance there, so I'm going too.  Ambs?"  She laughed.  "After the last time,
you even need to ask?  Of course I'm going, good things happen in threes!"
she teased.
