Chapter 2a- What a Girl Needs

We got ready quickly and headed to the Pepsi Arena to the show.  By some
lovely chance, we got there just as the local radio station was giving away
three front row tickets.  Just as we walked up, they turned to us and asked
us if we could name every song on the new album.  We did, and got the
tickets.  We promptly gave our old tickets to two little girls and their mom
who didn't have any, then went in to our seats.  The show actually started on
time, the opening act was good for a change, and the intermission lasted long
enough for all of us to go to the bathroom and freshen our makeup.  Then the
rest of the show started, and we knew it was our night.  The guys exploded
out onto the stage, and it was incredible from the start.  At one point they
were dancing around flirting with the audience, and Lance saw Carrie.  His
jaw dropped, and she winked up at him.  He suddenly grinned ear-to-ear and
pointed us out to the other guys.  They all grinned and flirted with us, and
we ate it up.

When they sang  “This I Promise You“, Justin came right over in front of me
and knelt down.  Tears flooded my eyes, and he smiled down at me and motioned
for me to wipe them away.  I did, and he blew me a kiss.  I almost passed
out, but played it cool.  Then Lance took some flowers that had been thrown
up on the stage and tossed them to Carrie.  She nearly wet her pants, but
smiled brilliantly up at him.  Joey, not to be outdone, grabbed an adorable
teddy bear, and actually hopped off the stage to hand it to Amber.  She
blushed, and he kissed her cheek before jumping back up.  That almost did her
in, but she was strong.  We made it through the whole show, then hurried out
after the last encore.  We didn't go to their hotel; we knew that all the
little girls would be headed there.  We went back to our hotel and cleaned
up, changing into our "goin clubbin" clothes, then we headed to Jillian's.

The guys walked in about an hour later as we were playing pool and laughing.
They spotted us immediately and hurried over.  "You ladies are incredible.  I
think its time for proper introductions." JC said with a grin.  They each
introduced themselves, then we introduced ourselves.  "Now that we all know
who's who, can we interest you ladies in some dancing?" Joey asked, his eyes
never leaving Ambers face.  She grinned and said,
"I cant speak for those two, but I'm interested."  She left no doubt who
she was really interested in, or what, for that matter.  Joey held his arm
out, and she took it without hesitation.  We all chuckled as they took off,
then Justin looked down at me hopefully.  "Would you like to go dancing,
Shannon?" he asked almost shyly.  I smiled up at him, and said softly, "Id
love to, Justin."  He led me away, and the other three looked at Carrie.  She
laughed and put her cue stick on the table.  "Lead on boys!  There's dancing
to be done!" she teased.
