"MICHELLE'S RED BEANS & RICE"
INGREDIENTS |
1 lb Sausage |
1 lb Bag Dry Red Beans |
6-8 Cups of Water |
1 Large Onion |
1 Teaspoon Salt |
4 Cups White Rice |
Season to taste |

Rince and sort beans. Bring water
and beans to a Boil in a 5 quart Dutch Oven.
Cut sausage into 1/2 inch slices and add to pot.
Add Onion, salt and other seasonings and cook on medium
heat for about one and a half hours or until beans are
tender. Add water when needed. Serve over rice.
Makes 6 servings.
