MOM'S FIG CAKE
INGREDIENTS |
1/2 Cup Oil |
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar |
2 Eggs |
1 Teaspoon Salt |
1 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla |
2 3/4 Cups Flour |
2 Teaspoons Baking Pdr. |
1/2 Cup Buttermilk |
1 Quart Figs |
1 Teaspoon Soda |

Add all the above ingredients together and.
mix well by hand.
Poor into a well greased black iron skillet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 40-45 minutes.
HINTS:
One can use 1 teaspoon vinegar into a 1/2 cup
regular milk to replace buttermilk.
Figs are a great summertime favorite! So why not
bake a Fig Cake tonight?
