WELL MY GRANDSON {17} JUST CAME INTO MY SHACK AND ASKED IF I KNEW WHEN I BOUGHT MY FIRST COMPUTER.I TOLD HIM WHEN THEN I SHOWED HIM MY OLD TIMEX..WELL HE WAS SO THRILLED I LET HIM HAVE IT TO SEE JUST HOW MUCH TIMES HAVE CHANGED..
TO ME IT IS THE MOST USER FRIENDLY MACHINE I HAVE EVER OWNED. I STILL HAVE THE PRINTER AND 2 ROLLS OF PAPER
I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A BRIEF OPERATING MANUAL OR ANY INFO ON SETTING IT UP AS I HAVE MISPLACED MY INSTRUCTIONS.. GLAD TO BE A SIGNER ON TO YOUR WEB PAGE

I have added the Sony mini-disk recorder to my
timex sinclair 1000 and currently recording all of
my programs on to mini-cd. Very fun. A good
sugestion for all to try.

The ZX81 was my first computer too. I still have it and the 2040 printer along with 16kb of memory.
