So, you've stumbled into my website, eh? Hmm, I wonder how. But I digress. Here, you shall understand the truth behind Russia's commercial aviation industry.
Now, when we talk about Russia, I'll bet it isn't a pretty sight that comes to mind. Here, we focus on commercial aviation. The former Soviet Union government airline was a horror story. However, we won't talk about the airline. Lets look at the back bone of an airline, it's aircraft.
I chose Aeroflot as an example, because it's the only airline in the world which consists mostly of Russian made jets. It's fleet consists of 111 airplanes. Imported aircraft includes two Boeing-767-300s, eight Airbus A-310-300s and one DC-10/30F freighter. The rest are Russian, which includes six long-range IL-96-300s and eighteen IL-76TD cargo planes. The fleet also consists of Il-62s, Il-86s, Tu-154s and other Russian aircraft.
So you've heard of crashes and the terrible conditions on these Russian carriers. It must be clear that I have only heard these remarks and have never seen any in real life, except on the news. But lets look under the packaging. Look into the technology behind the aluminium covering.
This site is dedicated to the aircraft created by Tupolev, Antonov and Ilyushin, dedicated to unveiling the unknown power of Russian commercial aviation.
You may think Boeing and Airbus are the only ones making planes that you can ride in. But look further East, and
Be Amazed.
