ACTAA Thermal Glider Competition 2002
The final round of the 2002 competition was held at the brand new Yass field on 30th June in beautiful Winter weather. CEFA members Ian Parker and Matt Greenfield participated in both Open Class and Two Channel Class with their two metre Spirits. Unfortunately CEFA was denied a clean sweep of all the Two Channel rounds this year by Doug McDonald (congratulations Doug!) Matt came second and Ian came third. Both pilots also had a good time of it in Open Class, not often getting perfect times often but getting close enough regularly enough to embarrass the moulded three metre ships again!
