Setting sail for a new adventure in learning, Interpreting Basic Financial Statements places the user at the helm of an 18th century sailing vessel. Journeying along a fictitious coast, they engage in shipping and trading which challenges them to improve the financial position of the company. Along the way, users explore basic financial principles, financial statements interpretation, and basic ratio analysis in a rich multimedia environment. The course is intended for individuals who work with financial information and need a basic understanding of financial statements. It was developed with Authorware Professional and used Director and FreeHand.
