His pencil in the gloom of earthquake and eclipse."

Mr. Maksoud: As i explained to Prime Minister Mulroney in my April 28, 1986 statement to him, i signed the book at the United Nations pavilion at Expo '86 here in Vancouver, in response to their question about my views on peace, thusly:
"As always, we have responsibilities for ourselves, for our children, for the world we live in.
Our primary responsibility is to make peace."
I'm presently reading the November, 1978 National Geographic article, "Pilgrimage to Mecca", by then-Director of "The Islamic Center" in Washington, D.C., Muhammad Abdul-Rauf, Ph.D. I'll write Habib Chatty again this fall. He returned the Acknowledgement of Receipt for my earlier registered letter to "The Islamic Conference Organization".
