Yes, you're right, that's me, photographed in a Jordan Formula 1 car.

My name is János Szabó, and I live in Budapest , the beautiful capital of Hungary . I will be 27 this summer, exactly I was born on the 31st August, 1975 in Szombathely ,which is a quiet little town in Western Hungary, near the Austrian border.

Currently I am a university student at ELTE University, Faculty of Arts . I am majoring in two fields: Norwegian, and Political Science. You could well ask, why I chose Norwegian? Well, I like the country itself, and the language seemed kind of peculiar, but I can assure you that it`s not so hard to learn as one would imagine. We study language itself, linguistics, and lots of literature at the Department of Scandinavian Studies . I have started Political Science in 1997, and it is even more interesting than Norwegian. My special field of interest is the relationship between Norway and the European Union . I have also completed my thesis on this topic, for which I have done some research as well with a scholarship at the  Institute of Political Sciences at the University of Oslo . I will graduate from university sometime around this June.

As you probably have guessed from the picture above, my ever favourite sport is Formula 1. I began to watch the races years ago, and in the past few years my interest only grew. My favourite driver was Martin Brundle, who, sadly, has by now retired, but he became a F1 race commentator for the English television channel ITV, in which role he is also brilliant. During his career he has raced with many teams: Tyrrell, Zakspeed, Brabham, Benetton, Ligier (now Prost ), McLaren and Jordan . I think he was one of the most underrated drivers in the history of F1.

On this picture, I'm standing together with Martin.
