Filing a complaint

If you are not happy with your outcome with a CCRA agent, insist that you be allowed to speak to a supervisor. Get the badge numbers of everyone you come in contact with. Agents might not divulge their names. Always remain calm and in control. Let them know you cannot be bullied or intimidated, and that everything you wish to do is within the rule of law.

If you are not allowed to speak to a supervisor, you can write the local office. Addresses of the CCRA are on the website. Do not end your complaint untill you have received some sort of satisfactoy resolutiom.

Remember, abandoning your property gives you no recourse to getting it back at a later time
