REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prospective members must be within the ages of 14 and 21.
Must be of good character.
Enrolled in school, have graduated, or the equivalent.
Be in good health, although consideration will be given to those with minor handicaps.
REQUIREMENTS:
Explorers are required to attend two meetings a month and to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours working at the Sheriffs Office each month.
Annual Dues are $20.00, which covers B.S.A. registration and insurance premium(limited coverage is provided to any member injured during an Explorer function).
Each member will be required to obtain a post approved uniform following the successful completion of a probationary period.
A liability waiver is required of all participants.

Backround check (felony convictions are a bar to membership)
Reference checks
An interview (oral board)
