The Highwood Rufous Hummingbirds
are a source of great entertainment at the Highwood House Information Centre
located in Kananaskis Country, south and west of Calgary, Alberta.
I operated the gas station and store there for 16 summers. My first ever website,
done about 4 years ago, includes some information about this beautiful area
located in the Canadian Rockies.
Last summer while hiking with my two sons I had the amazing fortune of
seeing a hummingbird nest! Unbelievable! Check back for more pictures
