I have a Galixy DX66V and an Astatic D104 handheld mic. The main key to my mobile radio is the Wilson 5000 antenna.
I also have a Maxon HCB-10C that I carry out in the woods when hunting. I have also found that the Motorola Talk Abouts' work really well while hunting. They don't have very far for range but inside a mile and a half, they are key.
