RAISE THE CUPS AND HOIST THE BANNERS! Admirals win league championship over Baltimore, 2-1, off superb goaltending by Gary "The Terminator" Smith and outstanding team defense. The Washington Admirals congratulate the Baltimore Admirals for their regular season and playoff performances. The Washington Admirals also thank and congratulate the Battle Cats, Stampede and Moose for making this a truly memorable season for everyone.
