The 1st Adventure of Prince Ray
Marlin, King of the Cats, was a Cat of many wives. His favourite wife was named Sarabi and she was the most beautiful Cat in the World. She had a son, whom Marlin named Ray, and he was very bouncy, noisy and naughty Kitten.
When he was of age to be married, Marlin disussed his position with the council. He found that a high and trustworthy member of his council had a very beautiful daughter, also of marrying age called Pearl. Marlin went and saw her and thought she would be perfect so they discussed the wedding day.
Ray, however, knew nothing of his Father's choice.
On the day of the wedding, Ray was very angry when he saw Pearl because he wanted to marry a cat of his own choice. So he ran away.
He knew he would not be seen, because all the other cats were at his wedding. He ran into the woods and climbed a tree. In an instant he was asleep.
He woke in the morning to the sound of dragons. He bounded off towards the sound.
To his horror he saw a beautiful Cat princess tied to a tree and watched the dragon walk around and around the tree breathing smoke and flame and laughing. Something must be done!
He bit the dragons' tail and it roared with shock, Ray killed the dragon and bit through the princess' ropes. He took all the dragons' treasure and took her back to his fathers' castle. Her father was so pleased that he gave the princess (Her name was Sapphire) to Ray as his wife. Ray and Sapphire ran away and built themselves a castle and lived hapily ever after.
