Rosanne
Hi, my name is Rosanne. I am 11 years old and Form 1 at Glen Eden Intermediate School in Auckland. Auckland is a busy city in the North Island of New Zealand.
I am in a classroom with 32 other pupils, a good teacher and our class pet Chuckie. (Also lots of homework!!)
I walk to school with my brother, my classmate Sam, and his brother and sister because we all live nearby. My 8 year old brother, Oliver, goes to Kaurilands school, my former primary school up the road. I do not have a backyard but I do have property of good old New Zealand bush. There are lots of birds, lizards and greenery. In the summer Oliver and I make huts and swing on our Tarzan swing. The only bad thing about it is there are lots wetas(large locust-like insects)which come into the house. I have 2 pet goldfish and am saving up to get a turtle. My goldfish's names are Cloudy and Red-head. They are old and fat. I think they will die soon. My hobbies are soccer, reading, drawing, art, shopping and writing letters. My favourite foods are pizza, fruit, meat and sweet things--basically if it's sweet I like it.
I play soccer on Saturday for the West Auckland club and on Sunday I play for the Auckland 11th grade rep team My mother is Chinese and works as a Travel Agent. My Dad is an architectural designer. He is self-employed. It gives him more time to take us places, do things with us and tell us to tidy our rooms!!!!!!
