Girl Scout Troop 74's Activities

Here is a list of the Activities our Troop has
participated in this year!! If we get access to
a scanner we will load some of the pictures from
our activities!!

| SEPTEMBER |

In September we were still getting our troop
formed and did not have an activity that month!

| OCTOBER |

In October we had an activity with our whole
Service Unit. We had a Halloween Skate Party.
Everyone showed up in costume and brought a can
of food for the needy. They also brought their
favorite treat to share with all. We had a great
night of fun and goodies. The next week 2 girls
from our troop delivered the food that was collected
to the Ogden Rescue Mission. It was a great
learning experience and made us appreciate what we
have in our lives so much more. We are now
collecting coats and blankets to take down there
because the winters in Utah get so cold!!

| NOVEMBER |

In November we decided to make things for our
Thanksgiving Dinners. We stiched napkin rings
for our Thanksgiving tables. They were made out
of plastic canvas, yarn and pony beads. They came
out so beautiful!! We also made pumpkin pies the
day before Thanksgiving. It was great fun!! A local
church let us use their building so we would have
enough oven space. It still took 2 hours to cook
all of the pies. They came out great!!
