News of the computer

Issue #2
The latest in computers and the net. For people from being afraid to accidentally level Moscow to the avids.
Web Site Critics

This issue's web site is Marlo Greeting Cards. Marlo Greeting Cards has several cards for every occasion that you can personalize and send to your friends, relatives, or coworker. Even if you can't find the any-key you can still send a clean crisp card to their E-mail box. And doesn't that make you look smart!

I'd give Marlo Greeting cards an A- Marlo's pages are filled with creative cards free of charge and even awards. All is great but the look doesn't catch my eye but other than that ROCK ON

Software

This issue's free software is Netscape 4.0. Netscape the first web browser ever the best web browser ever. Admit it with better Java, Java Script and some of the best HTML ever created it well worth the download. Plus your current browser probably can't handle some of the best web pages.

You can find the ultimate web browser HERE.

Issue 1

Windows 98 Is Here

Yay Yay Herah Herah if it's so great why isn't it flying of the shelves like 95 did? Well at $89 I'm not rushing out to get it 95 works fine and it's based on the same idea. But on the other hand the people at MS made it so the programs load faster, it takes less memory (Need WhatIs.com Yet?) and comes with IE 4.0. 98 either love it or hate it it's here. 98 or not it's you choice unless your computer can't run 98 then never mind and you should just read another section.

Great GeoSites

This issue we have Brandy's Design Emporium The Emporium has good help for any one struggling to create their dream site. (Unlike Me) And even if you don't need any help with HTML The Emporium has fonts, backgrounds, images every page should have and GeoLinks (Look At The Bottom of My Home Page)

GeoNews

WOW my mind is blown last issue I told you about the great 6mb upgrade of our sites. But now, now, it's up to 11MB!!! Now you can put a small part of your hard drive on your site and all those pictures from Disney Land your favorite midi and that cool program that's 100% useless!!

Home Page Help

You may know every HTML code in the book, you may know how to make great images animated or still, but your page still lacks and you don't know how to give it that edge. That can be answered in two words "Java Script".
Java Script, what's that?
Java Script is the easiest way to add oomph to you page. It's the simplest extension of HTML (I learned it and I'm 14). With JS you can write all kinds of live page manipulation
example:
Wow, That was neat but where can I learn Java Script with out buying a book?
HTML Goodies A great web site for HTML how to's is now teaching Js FREE!
Where?
