Here is a little bit about my daycare. I am licensed through the state of Wyoming for a Family Home Daycare; this is for six children plus 2 after school. I enjoy this alot. I am able to stay at home with my daughters, Ashton and Mackenzie, and they are able to have many playmates.
Previous to my licensing in Wyoming, I was licensed through the Navy as a Family Child Care Provider in Washington state. The Department of Defense has a wonderful training program I went through at Naval SubBase Bangor. I am VERY proud of my involvment with this program. Even though the constant inspections seemed a little inconvenient at the time, I look back now and see the advantages I gained from the experience in Washington state and with the Navy program.
If you would like to view some of the paperwork that I use in my daycare, just follow the links below. The parent Handbook is the booklet of my policies that the parent takes home with them for record. The Parent/Provider Contract is just that; a legally binding contract with that parent for child care. I give them a copy of this contract when all is completed and signed. I have a Questionnaire/Referral form here also. I just recently started using this form for my parents. It is something that I have them fill out annually or upon discontinuing care. The rest are pretty self explanatory.
The last link has my feelings on doing childcare. I really enjoy this career choice as it helps me be with my daughters. I have a couple of great poems about child care here too!
Thanks!
