On to my pup Shady. Shady is a pitbull mix. He was born around September of 2001. The guy that owned his mother decided, after she had a litter of 5 puppies, he didn't want to take care of her or her puppies so he dropped them off at the animal shelter here in Dodge. The animal shelter was going to put them all to sleep because they tend to not adopt out pitbulls. Luckily for us we had a friend who worked there at the time and convinced them to let him take the puppies home (the mother who was full pitbull was still put to sleep). Tyson found good homes for all the pups and decided he was going to keep one for himself (that would be Shady). Not long after that, he found out his girlfriend at the time was pregnant......with twins. So Tyson realized he probably didn't need a small pup running around chewing on his two newborns. As a birthday present to both Brendon and I, Tyson gave us Shady. I had been bothering Tyson for some time about Shady and I had dogsat for both Shady and his sister Crash several times, so it wasn't like he just dumped his dog on us : ) Anywho, let's get on to the pictures.

just a small Shady
This is Shady not long after we got him. He's probably about 8 months old. Just a little Shady compared to now.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Shady. We were having a lunch outside one day and I just happened to get this cute picture.
still being cute
shady doing the dishes
This is my pup getting caught cleaning the dishes in the diswasher. What!!?? They needed to be cleaned, right??
Yes Shady travels with us in the summertime on the carnival. Sometimes he even gets put to work. I've taught him how to take peoples' money, but you have to watch him. If you don't get the money from him right away he decides he needs to chew it up into little pieces.
shady and thunder working
more work for the dogs
The black and white dog in these two pictures is my mom's dog Thunder aka "Chocolate Thunder!!" (guess you had to see Cat in the Hat). He comes out to work sometimes too, but not as much as the "Shad-ster".
Last but not least, a picture with his mommy and daddy. This was taken in April of 2003 and it was our "engagement picture" that we sent out in our wedding invitations. PS. that's the same '77 Harley that Brendon got for graduation. Looks alot different now.
