For Pagan
Found on my doorstep, all alone
Where you came from, remains unknown.
But you found my yard and decided to stay,
Back in '96, that Halloween day.
So I brought you in and gave you a home,
Never again will you wander and roam.
Now a cherished pet you'll be,
Forever, into eternity.

I want you to meet the most wonderful cat in the world, my baby Pagan. Her name was inspired by the fact that she was found on my doorstep on Halloween morning 1996.Although I hardly ever use her name, instead she has a nickname.First she was "sweet and tiny" then "the silky doll", her newest nickname is "monkey" or "monkey baby".(My boyfriend started calling her monkey). The vet figured she was 4 or 5 months old at the time, so I gave her a birthdate of June 15, 1996.Her favorite thing to play with used to be those little fur mice, but now she just loves her feather (one of those fishing pole type toys with a feather on the end). She is the greatest little poser and I take roll after roll of pictures of her.In addition to being a wonderful pet, she's also quite the showgirl.I have her recorded with the ACFA where she now holds the title of Royal household pet. She's also placed as the best household pet in the Eastern Canada division for the 1997-1998 show season. She has competed in seven shows, three for household pets and four for the ACFA.Her best ACFA show was in April 1998 where she was the best shorthair household pet and the second best household pet overall. At that show (pictured below) she won 2 trophys, 5 bags of food, 12 cans of food, 4 pkgs. of treats, 1 bag of litter and a rubber grooming brush! In total for her seven shows she has 36 silk ribbons, 22 rosettes, 2 trophys and a plaque.Obviously I'm extremely proud of her and love her dearly. So now that you've met her and know a little about her, please come along on a photographic journey of her day at a cat show.
*Update*
Even though Pagan no longer competes at cat shows she is still winning rosettes. This time in an online photo contest.I entered her picture (the one above on the pumpkin) and she won this rosette!!!
