This
is where you will find out a little about what's going on with me.
On
the Puffkin side.......
My first two Puffkins came to live with me in May 1997.
I have been fortunate to attend several events including the Kansas City Gift Shows where I interviewed John Pouleson, and Puffkin Day in Independence, Missouri. I have written some articles about these events that you can read in Special Features if you are interested.
I have been writing articles for Rosie Wells Collectors' Bulletin magazine about Puffkins since May 1998. You can read the most recent I had the opportunity to take a trip to Swibco in April 1998.
I have met alot of you and always enjoy hearing from you through e-mail and also ICQ. Puffkin people are so friendly! I will always try to answer your questions to the best of my ability! I want Puffkins Digest to be a fun and informative place for Puffkin friends of all ages!
On
the personal side........
I have four children; three boys and one girl.
They
were Lancaster and Lucky. My Puffkin family continues to grow and grow. I have the complete set of Puffkins and several of the variations, oddities and hard to finds. Not to mention the dozen or so Puffkins that play with my four kids. I don't know which keeps me busier, the Puffkins or the kids! I have also added all of the keychains and magnets to my ever growing collection.
article in the April/May 1999 issue. I wrote an article that appeared in the March 1999 issue of Beckett's Hot Toys. Beans! magazine also has done a collector spotlight about me. It is in the May 1999 issue.
I actually started to collect Puffkins for my daughter. Didn't alot of us start out that way? She has many Puffkins of her own to love who are now tagless. (Three year olds could care less about the value of a tag!) My oldest boys love the dinos and Swoop! They are anxiously awaiting Danny and Patriot. My daughter loves all Puffkins equally and recently had me design and decorate a tote bag to carry her furry friends with her wherever she goes.
I have a living Puffkin. Well, she looks like a Puffkin and is just as furry and cute! Her name is Thistle and she is a Pomeranian.
She is a cutie and is very smart!
