**June 1, 2000**
Swibco retires Cinnamon, Lucky, Olley, and Tibbs.


**May 17, 2000**
Swibco announces 5 new Puffkins: Candy the pink frog; Callie the calico cat; Lottie the loon; Chalupa the chihuahua; and Owen the snowy owl. All recent Puffkin styles that were previously unavailable as keyrings will now be available, including these new 5. (Remember: Limited Edition Puffkins are not made into key rings.)


**November 24, 1999**
Swibco announces the retirement of Chomper, Meadow, Tux, Slick, and Lizzy. No word yet on whether the newbies (Puddles, Swifty, Poppins, Petals, and Winky) will be made into key rings.


**September 15, 1999**
Swibco announces the retirement of Buttercup, Mango, Rosie, Skylar, Telly, and Violet. No word yet on whether the newbies (Autumn, Buzz, Roswell, and Gertie) will be made into key rings.


**July 22, 1999**
The latest Puffkin Key Ring to retire is Danny the dinosaur.


**June 14, 1999**
Swibco announces the retirement of Lily, Paws, Henrietta, and Peeps.


**June 14, 1999**
The June releases are: Jake the blue jay, Cosmo the rainbow bear, Jules the fish, and Dillard the mallard duck. No key ring will be made for Mystic the wizard.


**May '99**
Out of the May releases Danny, Scooter, and Freddy will be made into key rings. For reasons known only to SWIBCO, Patriot will not be made into a key ring.


**New Year's Day 1999**
The first 1999 key rings which will include the New Year's Day releases of Happy, Lenny, Shaggs and Squawk will probably not be available until March at the earliest. Hugs, Kisses, Patty and Patrick will not be made into key rings due to the small size of the designs on their foot pads.




The Third Batch of 10 Keyrings

Swibco introduces ten new keyrings in October '98.
This brings the total number of keyrings up to 63.

The newest keyrings include:

Violet the purple bear
Skylar the blue bear
Rosie the pink bear

Buttercup the yellow bear

The Second Batch of 18 Keyrings

The second batch of 18 keyrings, which were released in June '98, included all the remaining Puffkins styles that hadn't yet been released except for Spike. Spike was not made into a keyring because he didn't meet Swibco's standards when his size was reduced.

The first 35 styles of Puffkins keyrings were announced in December of 1997, although they did not start appearing on the store shelves until well into 1998. The styles included all the current Puffkins at that time except for Snowball, Dinky, Drake and Pickles. Snowball was not included because he was already retired and Dinky, Drake and Pickles were not produced since they were soon to be retired.
