**June 26, 1999**
PUFFKIN DAY!
The Second Annual Puffkin Day was held Saturday, June 26th at R&R Depot in Independence, MO.
R&R Depot is located on the lower level of Independence Center.
The event was held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A free button was included with each Puffkin purchase at R&R Depot.
A SWIBCO sales rep was on hand to talk to collectors.
Seven autographed (by Mr. Pouleson) Puffkins, including some Patriots, were used as door prizes.
Drawings were held at 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 1:00, 1:30, and 2:00.
You had to be present to enter but not present when the drawings were made to win.
Puffinstuf of Puffkins Digest was in attendance and had Puffkins on display, T-shirts available for purchase, and you could join the Puffkins Collectors' Club or renew your membership.
All members providing their membership card received a 10% discount off of any Club purchase at Puffkin Day.
One lucky winner of an autographed Flurry!
Collectors pick out retired Puffkins, enter their names in drawings and join the Puffkins Collectors' Club.
