Differences in Tush Tags

(08/20/99) - It seems that Puffkins are now all being shipped with the 'folded' tush tags. The color of the ink used for the printing and the material itself is somewhat different from tag to tag, but the information appears to be the same. The differences are probably caused by the use of different dye lots or fabrics when manufacturing the tags.

(08/24/98) - Some of the most recent shipments of Puffkins are showing up with folded tush tags again. According to Puffinstuf's sources this is not an intentional change. The reason for the change was explained as being just whatever materials were available in the factories at the time the Puffkin was made. Because of this the style of tush tag may change between the folded and non-folded types depending on what materials are ordered from month to month.
The information on both the folded and non-folded tush tags is the same.
Since the style of tush tag may fluctuate and the information itself is the same we do not consider this to be a significant variation.

(03/21/98) - The original Puffkins tush tags were a folded piece of material stitched into the seam of the Puffkins tush with printing on both sides of the fold. The newer Puffkins that have been released have a tush tag that is not folded, but a single piece of material stitched into the seam with printing on both sides of the material. The information printed appears to be the same on both tags.
