Well, since we were up late last night, we slpt in for a while:o) We were going to have our tour of the Tsankawi ruins, but we're doing it tomorrow, instead:o)
Sooo - we got to wake up whenever as long as we made it to the Techlab by a certain time:o) Yeah for sleep!

We walked down and across the street a little ways to this pizza place(I think it was called Home-Run Pizza or something like that? There was a baseball or some sport theme, at any rate;) And you know how much I pay attention to sports;p) for food before the lecture. It began to rain - I hope the rain will help reopen Magdelina Ridge so we can go up there:o) Someone mentioned that it would take *a lot* of rain and some more time after that before they would open up...but there's nothing wrong with being a little optimistic:o)

Back at the Museum, we listened to a lecture on Mars. It was prety much some basic information on Mars - its features, the history of exploration, and so on. our first feature was "The Happy Face Crater":o) Unofficially named so, of course, but it was cute:o) The rest of the lecture wasn't too interesting, unfortunately... just basics on its features and the voyages to the planet. we had some discussion abou the whole water issue;) I, on the other hand, have been in Latin class too long;) whil they were naming various parts of Mars, I started declining them..how sad...;) Okay..well..the guy said Olympus Mons...which first of all refers to Mount Olympus and Greek and ancient things, anyway.... and then my Latin tacher the previous semester had drilled the declension of mons in our heads, soo...;)

After the lecture, we got a talk about the Mars Society from someone from LANL. Basically, it seems like a group of all sorts of people who want to explore and have missions to settle Mars. It sounded pretty cool:o)

Afterward, we headed back to the hotel and we've had some free time. For about 2 hours, Corinne and I have been sketching, hanging out, and relaxing:o) Corinne really enjoys to draw people - somthing I've always avoided mainly cuz mine always come out bad;) But her drawings look great!!:o)
