Marking the Calendar

Encourage your daughter to keep a personal calendar for recording the dates and lengths of her menstrual cycles. Let her know that doing this will give her a greater sense of control over her body. This information will also be helpful when she goes for checkups at the doctor.

To help with this process, we've developed a special interactive calendar for keeping track of her menstrual cycle. This fun, interactive calendar will allow your daughter to keep track of the dates of her period each month. There's also room for her to record any questions she might have. If you're feeling uncomfortable about initiating a conversation about menstruation with your daughter, showing her the calendar might be a good way to start.
