Swimsuits

Summer comes and you've got to go to the beach to cool off, even if it is an artificial beach like they have in Phoenix! Of course, you have to have a neat swimsuit (unless you go skinny-dipping). I like skirted swimsuits or swimdresses. The skirt adds a note of modesty to the suit and also keeps the sun from creating the seeds for later skin disorders. The ideal suit would be a sarong-skirted bottom with ruffles, topped by either a modest ruffled top or a halter top. Alas, the one example of this is the one I purchased for my spouse, who subsequently tossed it out.

	A one-piece suit available in both children's and adult's sizes from the Disney Store, $18.		A Winnie-the-Pooh one-piece swimsuit from the Disney Store -- the one I am wearing to camp, $29.
	If you are going to go for a non-skirted suit, at least pick one that is more modest. I can't stand seeing "butt-floss" on the beach. They belong in strip clubs...		Yet more preferred than the simple 2-piece suit in the left column, is this more modest skirted number with a halter top. Sarong skirted suits are even better...

	FSweet Potatoes makes this adorable star spangled 2-piece suit. Childrens Wear Digest, $30.		Fabulous floral skirt over a full brief makes this 2-piece in Nylon/Lycra from Childrens Wear Digest a winner at $39.



	My ideal swimming suit: ruffled seat sarong-style, from a Sew Lovely book on lingerie. Needs a matching top similar to the one on the right immediately above...
