A year ago, I took a break from natural hair growing by perming my kinks. I also took a break from updating this page.

Through my journey I discovered an astonishing culture--a culture that is so blatant that I still can't comprehend why someone who has promoted natural hair as much as I never knew about it or rather, never appreciated it. I discovered the dread loc culture, and I grew a higher sense of appreciation for my African hair.

I have cut my hair to one inch, leaving only the virgin roots. I am now on a journey to regrow my hair naturally, and I invite you to join me.
