Monday, January 15, 2000- First of all, congrats to Megawacky Max for cracking the code in chapter 3 of The Shady Mansion Mystery. For the rest of you wondering what the code was, either try to pry it out of Max, or wait until next the chapter. ;-) Also, I've joined Megawacky Max's Hey Arnold! webring, you can view it from the splash page. In other site news, I've added a few pieces of fan art by me to the Fan Stuff section. They're not masterpieces, but I thought they were pretty good considering all I had to work with was MS Paint and a freeware resizing and smoothing program. I never could get Arnold to look right. He was hard to draw. The Gerald pic looks pretty good, and I consider the Helga one to be the best of the bunch. I did the Baby Helga pic just for fun, it doesn't really look like the young Helga we've seen on the show. Also on the Fan Stuff page, I've added some forms with attachment fields to submit fan art and fiction. They use a simple mailto command, so IE users that click on the submit button will just pop up a mail window. From what I've heard, form attachments don't always come out right when you get them in the mail (They'll be corrupted, etc.). I may end up scrapping this idea if nothing gets to me right. I'm also thinking about movig the Fan Stuff page to usa.internations.net, so I can use their form mail CGI script on the forms (Geocities doesn't allow custom CGI). I got a new guestbook, be sure to sign it! I changed the banner for the bottom frame (or no frames) page. I'm thinking about changing all banners on the site to look like this, what do y'all think? Thursday, January 4, 2000- Welcome to another fun-filled update of John's Hey Arnold! Site! I've made several little updates here and there. Chapter 3 of The Shady Mansion Mystery is up in the Fan Stuff section. Yeah, I know it took a while. Sorry about that. Anyway, I'm also having a contest concerning Chapter 3. I guess you'll have to read the fic to find out how to win =). Anyway, the winner will recieve recognition on the site. I created a Contact Me page for people wanting to get in touch with me via E-mail or otherwise. Also, in case you didn't notice, I changed the intro page a bit. I made a new pic and added an alert telling when the last update was made. I made a new title pic on the top section of my frames page using the font smoother I just downloaded for Windows 95. I'm about to go through the long task of re-making my images using the font smoother. That's all for this update, C-ya!

Thursday, December 14, 2000- Alright, this time I've really got some good stuff. I've created several Hey Arnold! icons and cursors. They're available for download in the downloads section. I've been working on these for a while, and I think you'll really like 'em. I've got icons and cursors of Arnold, Helga, Gerald, and the rest of the crew. You'll find easy to follow instructions on how to download and use the icons and cursors on your computer. And if you don't see your favorite character or something, you can E-mail me and make a request for an icon or cursor. You can also post requests at the forum. In other site updates, I've updated my favicon file, so those of you who have IE 5.0 or higher and add my site to your favorites list will get a cool little icon by it. Try it, it's neat. Saturday, December 9, 2000- Wow, an update. This time, I've got some cool stuff for 'ya. I've started writing a fanfic, entitled The Shady Mansion Mystery. It's up in the Fan Stuff section. I've got up two chapters so far, the first one is pretty short, but the second one kinda makes up for it. Even if you're not a regular fanfic reader, I suggest you check this one out. Its a mystery fic. Kinda like a Hey Arnold! meets Scooby Doo kinda thing. The chapters I have up now kinda start the thing of, but you'll really be in for a surprise next chapter. Um, other than that, I havn't done anything else. I'm looking for another Java or DHTML game I can put up, like the puzzle. It needs to be customizable, so I can make it HA! related. I'm no wizard at Java or DHTML, so if you have a script I can use, or know of a good site with free game scripts, E-mail me! Alright, I've kept you reading for waaaaay too long. Cya!

Wednesday, November 29, 2000- You probably noticed on the way in I redisigned the frames page. Yeah, I know, I dumped the old design pretty fast, but it was just too big! The new disign is small, compact, and more helpful. Besides the redisign, I've created a new games section. Inside is the old quiz and a cool DHTML driven Hey Arnold! puzzle. Check it out. And I fixed a few links in the Fan Stuff section. Cya!

Saturday, November 18, 2000- Your eyes decieve you not. I actually have updated the site! This time around, I've added 3 new fanpics to the fan stuff section, the 2nd chapther of Seventh Grade to the fan stuff section, redesigned the fanfics so they're easier to read (The old design just didn't do them justice, I'll admit), and added some cool new wallpaper to the downloads section. Not too shabby.
