Scout Family & Jamborees
As a Cub, Beaver or Scout you have much more than Ten Million Brothers and Sisters!!  And they really are Brothers and Sisters. Their uniforms may be a little different but you’ll recognise them by their Scout Badge.

Stretch out your left hand and you will find a friend, even if you’ve never met before, and even if you can't speak a word of his/her language. Scouting is a World Brotherhood. It spans oceans, continents, colour, nationality and religion.

"Jamboree" is a word of American - Indian origin meaning a festive gathering of tribes, and at an International Scout Jamboree, Scouts from many lands get together to have fun, swop badges and share in the companionship of other Scouts.
You have a common bond with all Scouts everywhere in your acceptance of the Scout Law and the Scout Promise.
