Venture Scouts

AMICVS took part in the District Cooking Competition on 29th September 1999.  The theme was "Best of British".  Against stiff opposition from Oakley Ventures, AMICVS had to fight to retain the Trophy.

Unfortunately, their best efforts ended in a shared Trophy with Oakley.

More recently, on the 6th November 1999, AMICVS gained sweet revenge in the Kudu Eliminator.  This involved a night hike of 15km with stop-offs at various bases.  

The last base was a cooking base where they had to produce a hot, nutritious 2-course meal at 2 o'clock in the morning.  Well done!!  

AMICVS now qualify for the County Kudu at Portsdown on the 27th November 1999.  The team is Phil Knight, Chris Valentine, Dave Beachy and Theresa Cluett.  Good Luck!!
