I did my undergraduate work in chemistry and physics at Augustana College. I continued my education at the University of Chicago in the chemistry Ph.D. program. Two years ago, I left the program with my Master in Science to pursue a career in tax accounting. I am currently in the Master in Professional Accounting program at the University of Texas at Austin and plan to graduate in May of 1999. This fall I will be looking for a job with a public accounting firm or in industry.

This is my wife Laura. You can see her merrily riding Cinderella's Golden Carousel on our Honeymoon last January here. We live in Austin with our two cats Elly and Cleo. My parents, Linda and Lansing Prescott, live in Sioux Falls, SD with their two Basset Hounds Max and Sophie. Growing up, my dog was also a Basset Hound, his name was Sherman. My Dad is a Biology professor at Augustana College and is the author of a best-selling Microbiology textbook. Next summer, they will be retiring to Sun City Georgetown in Georgetown, Texas.
