Dog Fest '99
On May 15, 1999, Andrews Pro K-9 Training hosted Dog Fest '99 at Tribble Mill Park in Gwinnett County. Lots of people brought their dogs out for a day of dog-related festivities to benefit Friends of the Shelter, Gwinnett County's not-for-profit organization of volunteers at the Animal Control Shelter. The festivities started at noon, and ran until 6pm that Saturday evening.
We got started a little later than we would have liked, but the weather cleared up for us and we raised enough money to innoculate over 200 puppies! I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that was involved and everyone else who participated. You should all give yourselves a big pat on the back!
As a matter of fact, everyone did so well, that we are planning to do it all over again next year! Of course, the goal next year will be to raise enough money to innoculate 500 puppies! Check this page often for updates regarding Dog Fest 2001, and watch how things evolve!
