Today, I received a rejection notice from
a major credit card company stating, as reasons for refusing credit,
that my credit report contained a garnishment, attachment, foreclosure,
collection action or judgment.
Sounds awesome doesnt it, especially
since none of it is true, but how can this be a providential blessing
or answer to prayer? Sevilla and I have not used credit for nearly
twenty years until just recently when we needed to make several
large purchases, therefore, I never gave thought to what might
be on my credit report. A Christian ought to so live that everything
about him is exemplary and in order. A bad credit report, especially
if it is false, can adversely reflect upon our witness for the
Lord. To leave such an impression unresolved is to court problems
in the future, better to find out about false reports and fix
them now in a time of peace and safety then to be confronted with
them in difficult times.
On this website, you will find the book,
The Portrait Gallery, a Fictionalized Account of the Second
Advent of Christ. It is my desire to publish this book,
through an independent publisher, as soon as I have sufficient
funds. As money doesnt grow on trees, and I dont have
a rich Uncle, it is necessary to borrow the $20.000 required for
publication, distribution and marketing of 3.000 books. Thus,
what appears, on the surface, to be a problem, is, in fact, a
blessing for a bad credit report has already impacted my fund
raising capabilities and will make it impossible to borrow the
needed cash for publication.
Blessings often lurk in unexpected places.
Praise the Lord!
