Welcome to our page called "Happy Tails". This page is dedicated to the individuals and families who have adopted some of our homeless pets. On this page we'd like to share the photos, cards and letters we've received letting us know how the pets are doing in their new homes. Please enjoy and if you've adopted a pet from us, we'd like to share your "happy tails".
Charlie
This gorgeous cat is Charlie aka Tiger. He found a wonderful home with Pat in Sunnyvale. Pat called recently to tell us how happy she was with her new companion. Charlie loves his cat condo and has found Pat's lap to be a warm and loving place to sit. Thank you Pat for giving Charlie a new home.
Star
Helen and Bud recently sent us these photos of Star. Her new name is "Mila" and as you can see from the photos she looks very happy. "Spoiled" and "happy" are words her new mom used to describe Mila in her new home. What a great view form her cat tree!
TysonHere's a photo we received via e-mail of Tyson, the boxer, who was adopted last year in May. His new mom says, "He is a great dog and is very happy here (we love him so much)." They recently adopted another boxer named Zoe. As you can see from the photo Tyson (on the right) looks quite happy and as for his new friend, his mom says, "They are the best of friends and partners in crime." Here's another happy tail!
ChloeWe received pictures from Chloe's aka Miss Kitty new mom, Kris. As you can see she's enjoying her new home. Her mom says, "She is doing GREAT. We love her dearly. She is quite a character, always chasing something or someone. Her latest talent is walking/bouncing on her hind legs, with her front paws up high above her head (she looks like a bear)-chasing me down the hallway." Looks like this once shy cat has found a very loving home.
BetsyThis is a picture that brought tears to my eyes. Little Miss Betsy came to us as a very shy and timid cat. Though we did not know her history other than she came into the shelter as a stray, we tend to think she was possibly abused. She would always cower when you went to pet her. Here she is in her new home where she lives with her mom, Carol and lovely sister, Bettina. Betsy looks so content and as her new mom said, "it's like she's come home". Thank you Carol for giving her a second chance.
Gracie
Here's a happy ending that puts a smile on all our faces. Gracie came into the shelter pregnant and starving. Gracie, a very timid and shy dog, blossomed into a healthy and happy lady in her foster home. For all her hardships, she deserved a loving home. Along came Don and Penny who originally were looking at one of her puppies. They decided to take Gracie home and as you can see by the picture, everyone is quite happy. Gracie is happy and healthy. Look at the weight she's put on.
