He was married to Antonetta Ryken on 24 Jul 1868 in Zwaluwe, N. Brabant. Antonetta Ryken was born in 1837 in Bergen op Zoom. Leendert Boekema and Antonetta Ryken had the following children:

child33 ii. Cornelis Willebrordus Boekema was born on 11 Sep 1870 in Moerdijk, N. Brabant. He died on 15 Dec 1870 in Zwaluwe, N. Brabant.

child35 iv. Felix Hubertus Boekema was born on 3 Jun 1874 in Breda, N. Brabant. (2)
