An email
from Hein Boekema (Jan. 2000) mentioned that Dymphna Maria Mathee was married
to Albert Mathys according to data he had received from Breda. But the data from
the American Family Center, Ellis Island, mentions an age for Albert which shows
that it has to be Albert Petrus who married Diaphina. The marriage date forwarded
by Hein (1913) is in agreement with the ages of the two girls mentioned on arrival
in 1920: Henriette 5 years and Elisabeht 2 years.
Was Diaphina (Dymphna?) an
Uberfeldt as we thought earlier? Eileen Barnes-Boekema
wrote she was not (email: 18 sept. 2001, but it is still not clear if her family name was Mathee.
