260. Jacobus (Jaap) BOEKEMA died on 29 Mar 2001 in Deventer. He was buried on 3 Apr 2001 in Deventer, R.K. Begraafplaats, Ceintuurbaan. He was also known as Jappie, Jaap. He was born 14 Jan 1911 in Wijtgaard.

Jacobus (Jaap) BOEKEMA and Regina Martha DOUMA were married on 26 Jun 1937. Regina Martha DOUMA (daughter of Pieter Sieuwkes DOUMA and Catharina Broersdr. DE BOER) was born on 3 Jul 1914. She died on 6 Jun 1997 in Deventer. Heart attack after a hectic week (visit to Tante Klaske, in the beginning of the week; visitors home for two days; visit to Jacques in Apeldoorn on the sixth itself). Very hot in Holland (35 c.). Very tired and not well when they came home. Was dead on arrival of the ambulance. (conversation on the phone with Tineke and Ome Jappie, Saturday the 7th of June 1997).
