This photo was taken when mom was only seventeen years old. This was a costume she wore for a bangsawan theatrical play "Megat Terawis". She played the part of the Queen of Acheh. Megat Terawis was a warrior in the Perak Sultanate. By plotting an elaborate plan, he managed to save a Princess abducted to Acheh and brought her back to her family.
