Lois Glasgow has done a heap of work on the North Carolina Swishers.

She writes: "So far I believe I can account for every N.C. Swisher and there children etc. Hope this can be of help to someone. I've been researching Swisher's since the late 70's. All the direct line of mt Swisher's stayed in N.C. Would love to prove Jacob Swisher is the father of my Swisher's. I'm sure there are alot of mistakes in file, but I tried to document everything I found."
